Social Skills & Relationships
Being able to interact with other people in a positive, friendly way is paramount to children developing and building their social and relationship skills along with their emotional intelligence. Empathy and self regulation along with kindness, manners and friendships need to be nurtured. Some children may require support with social development especially in identifying and learning to manage conflict, emotions and other relationships issues. With effort and practice students can learn how to identify and handle social skills, form meaningful bonds with others and adapt to uncomfortable situations.
