As part of classroom management stickers are an invaluable tool. They have long been a firm favourite with children and adults alike. They are eye-catching, cost effective and durable. The uses for stickers would fill a page but here are just a few ideas to whet your appetite. Use stickers to reinforce good behaviour and practice and recognise achievement and progress. Use stickers as a guide by charting proficiency and improvement. Stickers are ideal to reward and motivate. Use them on wall charts to promote healthy competition, on individual charts to show progress or recognise written work satisfactorily completed.

Outside the classroom, stickers are great for scrapbooking, reward charts, decorating cards, letters and gifts, labelling lunches and as a playground behaviour incentive. Everyone appreciates some form of external recognition and something as simple as a sticker inevitably brings a smile to their face and a discernible sense of pride.
