Games and Puzzles are excellent and important educational learning tools as they provide both mental and physical challenges. The art of problem solving, cognitive development, hand-eye coordination and generating self esteem are all attributes that are required. Many games and puzzles are interactive requiring a degree of socialisation. Both fine and gross motor skills can be targeted with puzzles as well as language, numeracy and science. Children develop persistence, are required to think abstractly and creatively when facing difficult tasks too.
