Weight & Mass
We can't find products matching the selection.
The terms weight and mass are often used interchangeably but they are quite different. Mass is loosely described as the amount of matter in an object. Weight on the other hand is the measure of the force of gravity on an object and so can vary from place to place. Being able to investigate the properties of materials, understanding the structure of matter and making connections between the concepts of chemistry and the role it plays in our world is the aim of our school curriculum.
